Please keep in mind that tenants are responsible for all issues that are caused by tenant failure to comply with the before mentioned policy. We should all be aware that being irresponsible with what goes down our toilets will not only affect us but also our neighbors when living in a multi-unit building. Please be responsible for what both you and your guests are putting down the sinks and toilets. What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet
Tampons and other feminine hygiene products expand are not supposed to be flushed down in the toilet.

2. Cooking Grease/Food
Grease should never be poured down any drain. When it cools, it will congeal and clog pipes. Collect your grease in the original container or pour into a zip lock bag prior to throwing in trash.
3. Baby Wipes/Wet Wipes/Cleaning Pads
"Adult baby wipes" are becoming increasingly popular nowadays. They are also increasingly causing clogs and backups in sewerage pipes across the country. Although some brands claim to be flushable, DO NOT FLUSH is soon to be updated on packages. Please toss these in the trash.
4. Dental Floss
Floss is non-biodegradable and can cause serious clogs and environmental damage.
5. Q-tips/Cotton
Unfortunately, cotton doesn't break down easily as toilet paper. It tends to clump together, and it causes blockage at bends in pipes.
6. Diapers
Diapers are made to expand into water and is guaranteed to get caught in the U-bend of pipes.
7. Pills
Pills contain toxic effects on groundwater supplies and wildlife. Please bring unused prescriptions and pills to the fire department or facilities designated to receive them
8. Paper Towels/Kleenex Tissues
Please throw paper towels and Kleenex in the trash. They do not dissolve the same as toilet tissue.
9. Cigarette Butts
They expand and block pipes. Please dispose of them properly.
